The USA Courtney Blue/Purples

Honoring Courtney Phillips.  Nominated by Betsy Budge of The American Paint Horse association Foundation.  

Courtney is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 who flew AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopters while serving from 2006–2017, including two deployments to Afghanistan. After 11 years of service, she was medically retired and now lives in Paradise, Texas with her family.

Today, Courtney and her family are deeply involved in the western lifestyle and rodeo community. They are avid ropers, and her daughter is heavily involved with Rodeo Queens. Courtney has a strong following of her own and is an incredible spokesperson with a powerful story of resilience, service, and the healing connection horses can provide.

A portion of the proceeds from this hero-inspired blanket will support American Paint Horse Foundation veteran mental health initiatives and the expansion of equine-assistance services programs.

OG Weave: The OG weave is our original construction and the foundation of the original contoured show blanket. Sizes & Contoured Drop

Cuttinup contour show blankets are measured differently than traditional square blankets due to their shaped topline. The contoured design creates three distinct drops—a front drop, mid-drop, and rear drop—as the blanket follows the natural curve of the horse. The listed drop measurement refers to the mid-drop, which is the most accurate indicator of overall fit and coverage.

Twiggy Size- 34” along the spine X 40” around the barrel, creating a 20” mid-drop

Designed for horses needing slightly more length and coverage while maintaining a clean, tailored contour.

Chiquita Size- 32” along the spine X 38” around the barrel creating a 19” mid-drop
